Chakra cleanse days 19 -21: Crown Chakra

Wow we are at the end of our 21 day chakra cleanse! How has this 21 day journey been for you?

We are at the last of the seven main chakras in our body, the Crown chakra. Also known as Sahasrara in Sanskrit connects us with the Universe and the Divine Source of creation. Also known as "the bridge to the cosmos" , our seventh chakra is located at the crown of our head, hence the name Crown Chakra. The seventh chakra is all about enjoying the joy and peace in life, through the realisation that we are all connected and one.

The pineal gland is associated with our crown chakra and a blocked crown chakra can manifest as feelings of being lost, directionless, ungrounded, anxiousness, a general sense of being purposeless. The crown chakra is symbolised by a moon white circle (sometimes appearing as a lotus) and a thousand petals. The third eye is masculine in nature and is associated with the element of cosmos, pure light and the source of creation.

The manta's associated with the crown chakra is "I UNDERSTAND" and "AH" and resonates with the 963 hz Solfeggio sound frequency. The 963 hz frequency is associated with awakening intuition and activating the pineal Gland and also sometimes referred to as pure miracle tones.

The crystals associated with the crown chakra are selenite, clear quartz, apophyllite and herkimer diamonds. Once again these are only some of my favourite crystals to work with, but any clear or white crystal will assist you with the balancing of the crown eye chakra.

Earths crown chakra is located at the extremely sacred site of Mt Kailash in the Himalayan Mountain Ranges in Tibet.

There is still so much to say about the chakras and the chakra system running through our bodies, the aim of these blogs has been to provide you with quick reads, snap shots of each chakra. I hope you have enjoyed reading these quick blogs on each chakra! :)

For the next three days focus with intention on clearing and balancing your crown chakra. You can do this in a number of different ways. You can use the meditations below, use one that you prefer, use a mantra meditation instead, do yoga poses, sit in stillness focusing on your crown chakra... as you can see there are a number of different ways to cleanse your chakras. Pick one method that resonates with you and set a time out every day (preferably the same time everyday) where you will not be disturbed and with intention connect, clear and recharge your sacral chakra. Don't forget to share your experiences in the facebook group! :) I would recommend also printing out/ writing down the affirmations in the picture below and saying them out loud everyday with intention (go ahead and create some of your own affirmations and share them with the group, if you feel called to do so! :)).
